Dispute Resolution Section
Mission
The ADR Committee was reformed in 2010 as the Alabama State Bar Dispute Resolution Section.
The Dispute Resolution Section addresses various aspects of dispute resolution; negotiations, mediation, arbitration and other techniques to either resolve or simplify the resolution of disputes. The section exists to emphasize to both providers and users of legal services that the Alabama State Bar recognizes the importance of efficient, cost effective resolution of disputes and the role of lawyers in that process.
